Retention policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

Current release: new uploads and generated results are kept until you delete them or request deletion. They do not automatically disappear after 24 hours or seven days.

Uploaded media and results

Source footage, generated results and related processing files may remain in Privaswap storage while the upload is retained, including files associated with failed jobs. Use “Delete this upload and its results” in the studio to delete the source and associated results together. Active processing must finish before this deletion can proceed. Download anything you want to keep first.

Some older uploads may have an expiry date assigned under an earlier retention setting. If an upload has an expiry, the studio displays it and the existing expiry applies.

What deletion does

Deletion removes the upload’s media and related results from Privaswap’s active storage. Failed deletions remain pending rather than being reported as complete. Limited account, transaction, consent and security records may remain. Third-party providers may have separate caches, backups or retention schedules; the studio’s delete action does not guarantee that those copies have also been removed.

Other information

Account information remains while your account is active. Contact us to request account closure and deletion. Account closure is handled through support, not an automatic 30-day deletion schedule. Payment and accounting records are retained where needed to meet legal obligations. Security, moderation, usage and support records may be retained for service operation, fraud prevention, resolving disputes and legal obligations; this release does not implement fixed 90-day, 12-month or 24-month deletion schedules for those records.

Request deletion or ask about retention

Email info@privaswap.app with your account email and the relevant swap ID if available. We will assess requests and any necessary exceptions, and explain what can be deleted. Never send passwords, API keys or full card details.
